Coupa has acquired AI document processing leader Rossum to accelerate its autonomous spend management platform. The move strengthens Coupa’s ability to automate complex financial workflows from procurement to payment processing.
The acquisition builds on an existing partnership that already streamlined invoicing operations for joint customers. Rossum’s intelligent document processing technology uses advanced AI to extract and interpret financial data from invoices, receipts, and contracts with human-level accuracy.
By integrating Rossum’s capabilities, Coupa aims to deliver end-to-end automation that reduces manual workloads for finance teams by up to 80%. The combined platform will process spending data faster while improving compliance and reducing errors across enterprise organizations.
