For one full day, I evicted ChatGPT from my workflow and relied exclusively on the new Siri AI integration. While I expected a downgrade in reasoning, the deep system integration provided a surprising level of convenience that standalone chatbots simply cannot match.
The standout feature was the contextual awareness. Siri could interact with my calendar, messages, and home apps seamlessly, turning complex requests into single-step actions. I no longer had to copy-paste data between a browser and my apps; the AI lived where my data already resided.
However, the gap in creative synthesis remains. When I needed a complex code debug or a nuanced editorial critique, Siri felt restrictive compared to the expansive logic of GPT-4. Ultimately, Siri is the superior personal assistant, but ChatGPT remains the undisputed king of deep intellectual labor.
